Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 20 Crosses Rs 935Cr Worldwide; Enters Top 10 Highest-Grossing Indian Film

Aditya Dhar's spy action blockbuster Dhurandhar, headlined by Ranveer Singh, continues its historic run at the global box office, emerging as one of the biggest commercial successes in Indian cinema. In its third week of release, the film has officially crossed the Rs 900 crore mark in worldwide gross, becoming the 11th Indian film in history to achieve the milestone.

Trade estimates from Sacnilk place the film's India net collection at approximately Rs 607 crore, while its worldwide gross stands at Rs 935.75 crore.

Despite nearing the end of its third week in theatres, Dhurandhar has shown remarkable consistency at the box office. On Day 20 (third Wednesday), the film collected an estimated Rs 17.75 crore India net across all languages, marking a 2.9% increase over its third Tuesday collection of Rs 17.25 crore as shown in Sacnilk.

With this performance, the film's 20-day India net total has reached around Rs 607.25 crore, after earning Rs 589.5 crore in its first 19 days. Notably, Dhurandhar has amassed over Rs 150 crore in the last six days alone.

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Worldwide Crosses Rs 900 Cr; Breaks Major BO Records, Overtook Animal and Bajrangi Bhaijaan

During the day, Dhurandhar crossed the Rs 900 crore worldwide mark, becoming the first Indian film of the year to do so. In the process, it overtook Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal (2023), which had grossed around Rs 915 crore globally, to secure a place among the top 10 highest-grossing Indian films of all time.

The film also surpassed Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), which had recorded a worldwide gross of Rs 922.17 crore, further cementing its record-breaking performance.

The Hindi version of Dhurandhar held steady in cinemas on December 24, 2025, recording an overall 32.52% occupancy across shows. Night screenings saw the highest turnout, while morning shows remained relatively lower, a pattern commonly seen during extended weekday runs.

Weekday collections during the third week remained within expected ranges for a big-ticket release. On Day 18 (third Monday), the film earned Rs 16.5 crore, representing a 57.14% decline from the third Sunday.

Christmas Weekend Could Push Dhurandhar's BO Collections Higher

With the extended Christmas weekend beginning, Dhurandhar is now eyeing the Rs 700 crore India net milestone, an achievement accomplished by only a select few Indian films. The holiday period is expected to boost footfalls, particularly in premium multiplexes and urban markets, helping the film sustain its momentum in the coming days.

Dhurandhar 2 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam: Sequel Announced with Pan-India Release Plan

Buoyed by the overwhelming success of the first installment, the makers have officially announced Dhurandhar 2, scheduled for release on March 19, 2026. Unlike the first film, which was released only in Hindi, the sequel will expand its reach with a pan-India release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The sequel is set to clash with Yash-starrer Toxic, marking Yash's return to the big screen after the KGF franchise, setting up one of the most anticipated box office showdowns of 2026.
