Ranveer Singh's much-anticipated espionage thriller Dhurandhar has been unstoppable at the box office since its release on December 5. The film has quickly become Ranveer Singh's sixth-biggest grosser, but it is Akshaye Khanna who is unexpectedly stealing the spotlight.
Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 5: Ranveer Singh's Film Earns Rs 158 Crore Worldwide
Early estimates suggested by Sacnilk that Dhurandhar has collected Rs 152.08 crore in India by 10 PM on Day 5, reflecting a strong performance on weekdays which few films manage after an explosive opening weekend. The film's global performance has been equally remarkable. With a worldwide total of Rs 158 crore in just three days, the espionage thriller has already become Ranveer Singh's eighth-highest worldwide grosser.

Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day-wise
The film's opening weekend brought in a powerful Rs 103 crore in India, driven largely by glowing word-of-mouth and repeat viewership. Remarkably, instead of slowing down after the weekend, Dhurandhar saw higher numbers on Tuesday than on Monday, a trend that indicates exceptionally strong audience interest.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk on Day 5, the film added Rs 25.83 crore, holding steady and outperforming typical weekday patterns. Monday itself delivered an impressive Rs 23.25 crore, underscoring the film's sustained momentum. The film showed a powerful opening weekend by earning Rs 103 crore in India, and instead of dropping sharply afterward, Dhurandhar witnessed growth on Tuesday compared to Monday.
On its fifth day alone, the movie added Rs 25.83 crore, while Monday saw an impressive Rs 23.25 crore. This upward weekday trend reinforces how strongly the film is resonating with the public. From Friday's Rs 28 crore opening, the film grew steadily through Saturday and Sunday, peaking at Rs 43 crore on its third day before settling into strong weekday numbers.
The success of Dhurandhar has also pushed it ahead of several major releases of 2025. It has already surpassed Salman Khan's Sikandar, which earned Rs 109.83 crore, as well as Akshay Kumar's Sky Force at Rs 112.75 crore and Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna's Thamma, which collected Rs 134.78 crore. With its current pace, Dhurandhar is well on track to become one of the top performers of the year.
Dhurandhar Cast Includes Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sara Arjun & Others
The movie's ensemble cast has been another huge draw for audiences. Directed, written, and co-produced by Aditya Dhar, the film is backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios. Ranveer Singh leads the cast alongside Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
The supporting cast includes Manav Gohil, Danish Pandor, Saumya Tandon, Gaurav Gera, and Naveen Kaushik, with many of their performances being appreciated by early viewers and critics.

As the film continues its strong theatrical run, excitement is already building for its sequel. Dhurandhar 2 is scheduled to release on March 19 next year and is expected to face a major box office clash with Yash's Toxic. Given the current momentum, the franchise is likely to remain a talking point well into 2026 as fans anticipate how the next installment will build on the success of the first.
