Samvardhana Motherson share price closed 0.22% lower at Rs 111.6 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 1,17,783.50 crore on Friday, March 20. The stock had touched an intraday low of Rs 111 per share and an intraday high of Rs 115 per share.

The company's board of directors, on Thursday, March 19, had approved an interim dividend for the financial year 2025-26. "This is to inform that the Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, inter-alia, has approved declaration of Interim Dividend of INR 0.35 (Thirty Five Paisa only) per equity share (face value of INR 1/- each) for the financial year 2025-26 to the equity shareholders of the Company," read a press released by the company.

To become eligible for the dividend, it is important for investors to own the company scrip on or before the dividend record date. The company has fixed Friday, March 28 as the dividend record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders.

The stock dipped to its 52-week low mark of Rs 71.57 on April 7, 2025. The stock has a return on equity (ROE) of 5.29%. Samvardhana Motherson share price value has declined 13.72% in one month. However, the stock has delivered 30% return in one year.
