ABB India dividend record date: ABB India, the Indian subsidiary of global tech powerhouse ABB, has fixed 3 May as record date for dividend payment, set to be considered on its Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The 75th annual general meeting (AGM) of the company will be held on May 10 in Bengaluru and share transfer books of ABB India will remain shut from May 4 to May 10. The AGM members will also finalise ABB India dividend amount (if any), payment date, and other details.

The technology company on Thursday fixed May 3 as record date for dividend payment, if the company declares any during its AGM. Dividend record date is the day on which a firm finalises the eligibility of shareholders for its upcoming dividend distribution.
ABB India dividend: How to be eligible?
Only investors who have purchased ABB India shares before record date, ie May 3, will be eligible for dividend distribution. Their name must appear as company shareholders at the end of business hours on May 3, 2025.
"The dividend, if declared at the 75th Annual General Meeting, will be paid/dispatched after May 10, 2025, to those Shareholders or their mandates whose names appear as Members in the Company/s Register of Members as holders of Equity Shares as at the end of the business hours on May 3, 2025. For shares held in electronic form, the dividend will be paid to those names who appear as Beneficial Owners as at the end of the business hours on May 3, 2025 as per details to be furnished by National Securities Depository Ltd. and Central Depository Services (India) Ltd," stated ABB India in a stock exchange filing earlier.

ABB India scrip closed nominally lower at Rs 5120 per share on BSE on Thursday. The company shares have fallen 5.96% year to date (YTD) and their stock value has increased over 1.47% since last March. The company scrip is recouping the loss when it dipped to its 52-week-lowest mark of Rs 4,893.10 per share on BSE on 3 March, 2025. ABB India stock reached its 52-week-high mark of Rs 9,200 per share on BSE on 18 June 2024.

The company recently announced a whopping dividend of Rs 33.5 per share for its stockholders on 17 February 2025. In August 2024, the company announced a dividend of Rs 10.66 per share, and the amount was distributed among shareholder in the same month. Last year in February, ABB India declared dividend worth Rs 23.8 per share and paid to eligible shareholders in May 2024.
ABB India Q4 earnings
ABB India in February reported a robust Q4 earnings. The electrification and automation major reported a 56% year-on-year (YoY) jump in net profit to Rs 528.4 crore for the fourth quarter that ended December 31, 2024 against Rs 338.7 crore in Q4 FY24. The company's revenue growth was fuelled by Electrification with frequent seamless execution of data center orders. Its revenue increased by 22% You to Rs 3,365 crore in the fourth quarter of calendar year 2024 from Rs 2757.5 crore reported by ABB India in the year ago period.
