EAAA India Alternatives has filed with Sebi to raise Rs 1,500 crore through an IPO. The offering will be an offer-for-sale by Edelweiss Group, with no proceeds going to the company.
EAAA India Alternatives, a division of Edelweiss Financial Services, has submitted initial documents to Sebi for an IPO to raise Rs 1,500 crore. The entire offering will be an offer-for-sale by Edelweiss Group, as detailed in the draft red herring prospectus filed on Monday. Consequently, the company will not benefit financially from the IPO, as all proceeds will go to the selling shareholder.

Established in 2008, EAAA India Alternatives is a prominent player in India's alternative investment sector. With over 15 years of experience, the company manages long-term capital. As of September 30, 2025, it had assets under management (AUM) amounting to Rs 65,504 crore. The firm operates a diverse platform across large and rapidly growing alternative asset classes.
Investment Focus and Strategy
The company's investment strategy includes real assets like infrastructure and commercial real estate with low counterparty risk. It also focuses on private credit, offering flexible financing solutions across various risk levels. EAAA aims to deliver income and yield solutions to its clients through these investments.

As of September 30, 2025, EAAA's fee-paying AUM was Rs 38,521 crore. Through its managed funds, the company had established 5,398 client relationships both globally and within India by that date. This extensive network reflects its strong market presence and client trust.
The IPO process is being managed by Axis Capital, Jefferies India, Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors, and Nuvama Wealth Management as the book-running lead managers. Their involvement underscores the significance of this financial move for EAAA India Alternatives.
EAAA's diversified platform targets under-penetrated markets with significant growth potential. This approach aligns with its goal to provide robust income solutions to its clientele. The firm's strategic focus on infrastructure assets like energy and transportation further enhances its investment portfolio.
