FILA Group Sells 4.6% Stake in DOMS Industries for Rs 798 Crore Through Open Market Transaction

Italian multinational FILA Group, a promoter of DOMS Industries, recently sold a 4.6% stake for Rs 798 crore in an open market deal. DOMS is known for its stationery and art materials, while FILA Group supplies art materials with 25 iconic brands. The transaction involved selling 27,73,407 shares in two parts, as per NSE bulk deal data.

FILA's shares were sold between Rs 2,879.12 and Rs 2,879.47 each, totalling Rs 798.54 crore. This sale reduced FILA's holding in DOMS Industries from 30.58% to 25.98%. The combined promoter and promoter group entities' stake also decreased from 74.96% to 70.36%.

Axis Asset Management's Acquisition

Meanwhile, Axis Asset Management Company and Axis Mutual Fund acquired 7.35 lakh shares of DOMS Industries at an average price of Rs 2,879 per share. This purchase amounted to Rs 211.46 crore. However, details about other buyers remain undisclosed on the NSE.

Shares of DOMS Industries dropped by 4.07%, closing at Rs 2,930.95 each on the NSE after the transaction.
