Fuel Price, August 30, 2022: Check Today's Petrol, Diesel Price In Your City

The price of petrol and diesel remains constant on August 30, 2022, as per Tuesday's notifications by fuel retailers. The price of both petrol and diesel remains unchanged now for over three months except Maharashtra where fuel prices came down on
July 13.

The state government in Maharashtra declared a cut in Value Added Tax or VAT on petrol by Rs 5 per litre and on diesel by Rs 3 per litre.

Fuel price all across India remains constant since May 21, 2022 when Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a cut in excise duty on petrol by Rs 8 per litre and Rs 6 per litre on diesel.

The price of 1 litre of petrol is in Delhi is recorded at Rs 96.72 per litre while the diesel price is Rs 89.62 per litre in the national capital. In Mumbai, the price of one litre of petrol is recorded at Rs 106.31 per litre and diesel price is available at Rs 94.27 per litre.

Leading public sector oil marketing companies including Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) revise prices of fuel everyday keeping in line with benchmark global prices and foreign exchange rates. If any changes in the prices of petrol and diesel occur, it is implemented at 6 AM everyday.
