Fuel Rates Today: Check Petrol & Diesel Price of Your City On 4th May 2022

On Wednesday, May 4, 2022, fuel rates remained stable, with petrol and diesel prices remaining flat for the 28th consecutive day. Petrol costs Rs 105.41 a litre in Delhi, while diesel costs Rs 96.67. Meanwhile, petrol and diesel rates in Mumbai were Rs 120.51 and Rs 104.71, respectively. Today's fuel and diesel prices in Kolkata are Rs 115.12 and Rs 99.83, respectively. Petrol will cost Rs 110.85 a litre in Chennai today, while diesel will cost Rs 100.94. Per litre of petrol will cost Rs 111.09 in Bengaluru, while one litre of diesel will cost Rs 94.79.

Petrol will cost Rs 112.50 a litre in Bhubaneswar today, while diesel will cost Rs 102.24. Petrol will cost Rs 105.43 a litre in Noida today, while diesel will cost Rs 97. One litre of petrol costs Rs 105.77 in Gurgaon, while one litre of diesel costs Rs 97.02. Petrol and diesel prices in Chandigarh will stay constant today at Rs 104.74 and Rs 90.83, respectively. In Hyderabad, a litre of petrol will set you back Rs 119.49, while a litre of diesel will set you back Rs 105.49.

Crude oil prices rose on Friday morning, with Brent crude futures trading at $106 per barrel, up 0.94 per cent and U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures rose 1.04 per cent to $103.5 a barrel. The international price of oil is set to remain unpredictable as the European Union prepares restrictions on Russian oil supplies, post-Germany is already set to endorse a ban.

On 4th May 2022, the brokerage ICICI Securities said in a report that "WTI crude oil prices declined more than 2.0% on Tuesday as Covid-19 outbreaks in China stoked fears over fuel demand. However, oil prices found support from European Union prepared sanctions on Russian oil sales after Germany said it was ready to back an embargo. MCX Natural gas price are likely to move further towards Rs 630 for the day amid concerns over the lower gas supply from Russia to Europe. Additionally, expectation of decline in Natural gas storage data from the US will continue to support the gas prices on the downside."
