Fujiyama Power Systems shares made a dull debut on the stock market on November 20, disappointing investors who were expecting a stronger listing. The stock opened at a 4.21% discount on the BSE at Rs. 218.40, compared to the IPO price of Rs. 228 per share. On the NSE, the stock listed slightly better at Rs. 220, still 3.51% below the issue price. The company began trading with a market cap of around Rs. 6,692 crore.

Fujiyama Power Systems Share Price Today
At around 11 am, Fujiyama Power Systems share price on the NSE was trading at Rs. 224.00, up 1.98% from its listing price, though still 1.75% down from the IPO price. On the BSE, the stock was trading at Rs. 224.05, recovering 2.59% from the weak opening as buyers are gradually stepping in after the discounted listing.
Why Did Fujiyama Power Systems List at a Discount?
One of the biggest signals ahead of the IPO listing was the low-to-zero grey market premium (GMP). The last recorded Fujiyama Power Systems IPO GMP was just Rs. 0.5, hinting at almost no listing gains. The expected profit based on GMP was only 0.22%, which indicated weak demand in the unlisted market.

The IPO received a moderate subscription of 2.21 times. The IPO allotment was finalised on November 18th. While the QIB response was strong, the retail and NII participation remained subdued, mirroring the weak GMP trend.
