Today, Gensol Engineering Ltd. has appointed Ankit Jain with immediate effect as the new Chief Financial Officer of the company. Jain will succeed Jabir Mahendi Aga, who is taking on bigger leadership responsibility in the Gensol Group. This is believed to be a positive leadership reshuffle to help bolster the company's fiscal system and support growth as Gensol seeks to cement its position in the renewable energy market.
With Jain in place, Gensol Engineering moved promptly to allay concerns regarding any backlash from Jain's appointment, noting his proficient capabilities. "Ankit Jain has been designated as the new CFO, who would work together with the top management of the company to carry out the action plans aimed at constructing a firm financial base and improving the governance of the company," the release said. Ankit Jain is appointed as a member of Gensol, coming from the position of Vice President - Finance, in Zetwerk India.

Speaking about the position, Anmol Singh Jaggi, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Gensol Engineering said "Given Ankit's broad financial leadership experience and his ability to implement complex financial strategies, I believe that he will contribute significantly to Gensol's goal as the mainstream player in the change of energy use in the world."
Earlier this month, renewable energy players reported revenues of Rs 556 crores for the second quarter of FY 2024-25. Reporting a 58% increase compared to the same period last year. This notable growth shows Gensol's expanding market share in the renewable energy sector and its capacity to meet the growing demand for clean energy solutions.
Anmol Singh Jaggi commented on the company's recent financial success, stating, "I think we are moving in the right direction regarding our topline expectation of achieving Rs 2000 crores in consolidated revenues in FY25. The numbers are looking good, and we are looking at possibly good results, especially in the second half of the year." This optimistic view indicates more sustained operational expansion for Gensol as it remains on the path of scaling its operations and fortifying its strength in renewable energy.
Besides the finances, Gensol Engineering has also been making news with new project awards. In September 2024, the organization won a bid to establish Green Hydrogen Valley- India's first project in Pune. The project will be developed with the support of AG Matrix Gas & Renewables which is a reputed green hydrogen policy and natural gas aggregator.
Gensol Engineering Ltd. was incorporated in 2012 and within a short span has transformed itself into a competitive force in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) domain of solar projects. The Company has successfully installed many solar power plants and is the proud recipient of over 40 national and international awards for a total installed solar capacity of more than 770 MW. Gensol still remains a significant player in the solar EPC industry, undertaking ground and rooftop installations in India as well as overseas.
