Go First airline has taken a significant step towards its revival by submitting a six-month revival plan to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), as reported on June 2. The interim resolution professional (IRP) of the airline has proactively initiated this measure to navigate through the prevailing difficulties and steer the airline towards a path of recovery.
Go First has expressed its readiness to resume operations utilizing its fleet of 26 operational aircraft and 400 pilots, as reported by the Financial Express.

The airline also informed the DGCA that oil marketing businesses have offered their assistance to Go First.
Prior to the airline's insolvency filing, oil marketing companies had put their operations on cash and carry terms, which required the airline to discharge its debts on a daily basis.
The airline's operations have been halted until June 4. In addition to oil marketing businesses, the restoration plan mentions the support of 15 of the 20 largest travel agencies for ticketing services.
Go First Airlines has also stated that it will deploy two planes to begin chartered flights between Delhi and Srinagar and Delhi and Leh as soon as it receives approval from the DGCA.
The airline intends to reintroduce scheduled flights on the Pune, Bagdogra, and Goa routes. According to the source, the airline also stated that it will be able to deploy eight to ten aircraft for scheduled routes.
The Delhi High Court has delayed its decision on a slew of petitions filed by Go First lessors seeking deregistration of their aircraft.
