Gold Price India, June 26: 22K/100 Grams Gold Slips By Rs 2500, Check Latest Prices After Fresh Fall

Gold prices in India today witnessed decline again after a brief pause of 1-day ahead of key US inflation data scheduled be declared later this week. The inflation data will throw more light and clarity on timing of US Federal Reserve's first interest rate cut later this year.

22k gold prices today slipped by Rs 250 to Rs 66,000/10 grams and 100 grams of 24 carat yellow metal prices became cheaper by Rs 2,500 to Rs 6,60,000 in India. 24K gold prices today recorded fresh decline of Rs 230 to Rs 72,000/10grams and 100 grams of 24 carat yellow metal prices today dived by Rs 2300 to Rs 7,20,000 in the country.

18 carat precious metal prices today declined by Rs 210 to Rs 54,000/10 grams and 100 grams of 18k gold prices today fell by Rs 2100 to Rs 5,40,000.

According to Reuters, "Higher Treasury yields and a firmer U.S. dollar overnight on the back of hawkish Fed comments have driven some weakness in gold prices this morning, as the call for a quicker policy easing failed to find much validation from policymakers," said IG market strategist Yeap Jun Rong.

"The risks comes with any upside surprise in inflation, which could trigger more uncertainty around Fed policies and may see further unwinding in the yellow metal," IG's Jun Rong added.

Spot Gold, Spot Silver Prices Today: Spot gold remained flat at $2,319.95 per ounce, as of 0337 GMT. U.S. gold futures held their ground at $2,331.30. Spot silver surged 0.1% to $28.94, platinum climbed 0.8% to $989.70, while palladium lost 0.5% to $943.49, , according to Reuters.

Silver Prices Today: Silver prices in India today fell again by Rs 1000 to Rs 90,000/kg and 100 grams of silver prices today slipped by Rs 100 to Rs 9,000.
