Gold Price India Today, April 30: Check 18K, 22K, 24K Yellow Metal Prices; Buy Or Sell?

Gold prices India remained unchanged on April 30, 2024 after witnessing decline a day before as investors are looking forward to the outcome of the US Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting on May 1, 2024. Price of 18 carat gold, 22k yellow metal, and 24 carat precious metal did not witness any change on April 30, 2024. 22 carat yellow metal price in India today stood at Rs 66,550/10 grams and 100 grams of 22k gold retailing at Rs 6,65,500 in the country. 24K yellow metal price in India today quoted at Rs 72,600/10 grams and 100 grams of 24 carat gold prices stood at Rs 7,26,000.

The price of 10 grams of 18 carat gold in India stood at Rs 54,450 and 100 grams of 18K yellow metal will cost Rs 5,44,500 in India today.

Silver prices India witnessed marginal change on April 30. If you are planning to buy 1kg silver today, you need to pay Rs 83,900 after the dip by Rs 100 and for 100 grams of silver, you will have to shell out Rs 8,390 on Tuesday, April 30.

Gold futures, maturing on June 5, 2024, quoted at Rs 71,263/10 grams on the MCX, after registering a decline of Rs 339 or 0.47%. The earlier close was registered at Rs 71,602. Meanwhile, silver futures, maturing on July 5, 2024, declined by Rs 857 or 1.04% and quoted at Rs 81,626/kg on the MCX against the earlier close of Rs 82,483.

Gold prices today remained unchanged, fell by Rs 330 on April 29, 2024, stayed stable on April 28 (Sunday), soared by Rs 220 on April 27, rose by Rs 440 on April 26, fell by Rs 380 on April 25, jumped by Rs 490 on April 24, declined heavily by Rs 1530 on April 23, slipped by Rs 550 on April 22, remained unchanged on April 21, and declined marginally by Rs 100 on April 20.

Silver prices gained by Rs 100 today, remained stable on April 29, April 28, declined by Rs 500 on April 27, jumped sharply by Rs 2000 on April 26, fell by Rs 400 on April 25, declined marginally by Rs 100 on April 24, witnessed heavy decline of Rs 2500 on April 23, slipped by Rs 1000 on April 22, and remained unchanged on April 21.

"The yellow metal is expected to trade with a bearish bias in the near term on hawkish Fed pivot expectations and contained geopolitical tensions. Support is at $2300/$2290/$2265 and resistance is at $2350/$2400," commented Praveen Singh, Associate VP, Fundamental Currencies and Commodities, Sharekhan by BNP Paribas.

Neha Qureshi, Senior Technical & Derivative Research Analyst, Anand Rathi Commodities & Currencies suggested traders to sell yellow metal June futures on the surge at 71,600, maintaining the stop loss at Rs 72,000 and a target price of Rs 71,200. For silver May futures, the analyst suggested investors to sell on the surge at Rs 82,400, keep the stop loss at Rs 83,400 and a target price of Rs 80,400.
