GST Introduction Added 60 Lakh Taxpayers Into System

At its very outset, the finance Minister in her Budget 2020 speech said the Budget shall focus on enhancing income as well as improving people's purchasing power.
The finance Minister said the households saved 4% on monthly expenditure after GST implementation.

Also, the introduction of GST enabled the introduction of 60 lakh new taxpayers into the system. Further the emphasis will be put to provide a simplified GST structure return system from April 1, 2020.
