HAL Dividend 2025: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) on Friday announced a 300% final dividend for the financial year 2024-25. The Maharatna defence PSU has also announced the dividend record date to determine the eligibility of its shareholders.
HAL shares closed 1.68% higher at Rs 4896.6 per share on BSE on Friday as the investors anticipated the announcement related to HAL dividend after the board of directors meeting held earlier in the day. HAL stock touched its intraday high mark of Rs 4904.5 per share on BSE and an intraday low mark of Rs 3045.95 per share.

The defence PSU will determine the eligibility of its shareholders in August. HAL's board of directors meeting began at 2:30 pm and concluded at 4:30 pm. The HAL dividend will be paid within 30 days after the Annual General Meeting (if approved at the AGM). The board had also approved the appointment of M/s Murthy & Co. LLP, Cost and Management Accountants as Cost Auditor of the Company for the Financial Year 2025-26.

The defence PSU on Friday announced a dividend of Rs 15 per equity share with a face value of Rs 5 each. The HAL board of directors had "Recommended the Final Dividend of Rs. 15/- per equity share of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up (300%) for the Financial Year 2024-25, for approval of the shareholders of the Company at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM)." The announced dividend is likely to be paid within a month after the AGM.

The company has fixed 21 August, 2025 as the dividend record date. The company has fixed "Record Date for the payment of Final Dividend for the Financial Year 2024-25, if approved by the shareholders in the ensuing AGM, will be Thursday, the 21st August, 2025."
HAL Share Price Trend
HAL shares ended in green at Rs 4896.6 per share on BSE on Friday with a market capitalisation of Rs 3,27,472.37 crore. The defence PSU stock's return on equity (ROE) stood at 26.75%. The company scrip touched tis 52-week high mark of Rs 5,675.00 per share on BSE on 9 July, 2024. Whereas, the stock value touched its 52-week low mark of Rs 3,045.95 per share on BSE on 3 March 2025. HAL stock value has 17.42% year to date (YTD) and has declined around 7.31% in one year.
The company recently announced that it will be responsible for the mass production of Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) for its domestic as well as global supply demand. The announcement came after it became a successful bidder for the manufacturing and design technology of the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV), developed by ISRO. The technology transfer, as per the agreement, includes comprehensive design, manufacturing, quality control, integration, launch operations, and post-flight analysis documentation etc.
