Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini recently engaged in a pre-budget consultation with industry and manufacturing representatives. An official statement highlighted the state's commitment to inclusive growth, emphasising the role of industrial bodies in Haryana's economic progress. The Chief Minister expressed that Haryana aims to contribute significantly to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister assured that the upcoming budget would address both immediate needs and long-term goals. He described it as a reflection of collective aspirations, stressing the importance of involving all societal sections to meet the needs and desires of Haryana's citizens. Suggestions from stakeholders will be prioritised to strengthen the rural economy, promote industrial investment, and empower youth through skill development.
Focus on Industrial Growth and Social Welfare
The Chief Minister also promised to consider suggestions related to enhancing health services, improving public transport in industrial areas, and implementing necessary reforms in industrial policy. These measures aim to boost industrial growth while ensuring social welfare. The budget will focus on these areas to ensure comprehensive development across the state.
Rajesh Khullar, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, revealed a new initiative allowing citizens to submit budget suggestions online. This initiative aims to gather input from various sectors and sub-sectors through the portal https://bamsharyana.nic.in. This approach encourages public participation in shaping the state's financial priorities.
The Chief Minister reiterated that every suggestion shared by stakeholders would receive due consideration. This includes proposals for strengthening rural economies, promoting industrial investments, and empowering youth through skill development and social welfare initiatives. The budget aims to reflect these priorities effectively.
By engaging with different societal segments, Haryana seeks to ensure that its budget aligns with the aspirations of its citizens. The state is committed to taking positive steps towards achieving these goals. This inclusive approach is expected to foster economic growth and social well-being across Haryana.
