Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini has released Rs 858 crore under various schemes aimed at supporting farmers. The funds include grants and incentives to enhance agricultural productivity and social security across the state.
On Saturday, Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced the release of Rs 858 crore for various flagship schemes. Of this, Rs 659 crore was allocated as grants and incentives for farmers under five agriculture-related initiatives. These efforts aim to enhance social security and improve citizens' quality of life across the state, guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.

In a bid to make agriculture profitable and future-ready, the government has been supporting farmers at every stage, from seed to market. This includes releasing Rs 659 crore under five schemes. Among these, Rs 461.75 crore was given as an incentive to 5,54,405 farmers who refrained from burning crop residue.
Support for Farmers and Women Empowerment
The crop residue management scheme also provided Rs 85.10 crore as a subsidy for 9,885 machines to assist farmers. Additionally, Rs 75.54 crore was distributed to 31,605 farmers adopting direct seeding of rice (DSR). Under the Mera Pani-Meri Virasat scheme for the Kharif season 2025-26, Rs 15.75 crore was allocated to 13,500 farmers.
The Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana saw Rs 20 crore disbursed as price difference compensation to 4,073 farmers involved in potato and cauliflower cultivation. The government is committed to ensuring that agriculture remains a viable sector for future generations.
Financial Assistance and Subsidies
Focusing on women empowerment, the government released the third installment of the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana. This installment transferred Rs 181 crore directly into the bank accounts of 8,63,918 eligible women beneficiaries. So far, Rs 441 crore has been disbursed in three installments under this scheme.
Each eligible woman receives Rs 2,100 monthly under the Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana. Starting February 2026, Rs 1,100 will be credited directly into their savings account while Rs 1,000 will be deposited in a government-operated recurring or fixed deposit account. The accumulated amount with interest will be paid upon maturity.
Additional Support Initiatives
Moreover, the government released Rs 18.56 crore as a gas cylinder refill subsidy under the Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana. These initiatives reflect a comprehensive approach towards improving living standards and providing financial security for citizens across Haryana.
The government's sustained efforts are aimed at making agriculture more attractive for younger generations while empowering women through financial assistance schemes. These measures are part of a broader strategy to ensure economic stability and growth in Haryana.
