New Delhi: Amidst the escalating tensions and conflict in the Middle East, Indian IT services companies have been taking measures to ensure the safety of their employees in Israel. HCL Technologies (HCLTech) and Infosys, two of India's largest IT services companies, have confirmed the safety of their employees in the region.
HCLTech's Presence in Israel

HCLTech has approximately 130 employees in Israel, all of whom are locals. The company clarified that while it does not conduct any business in Israel, it has some software teams located there. CEO and Managing Director C Vijayakumar stated that the company is constantly monitoring the situation and ensuring the safety of its employees.
Infosys's Operations in Israel
Infosys also confirmed the safety of its employees in Israel. The company's CEO and MD, Salil Parekh, disclosed that the majority of their employees in Israel are locals. While Infosys has business operations in Israel, Parekh declined to provide specific details about the number of employees. The company expressed sadness over the unfolding situation in the region and emphasized the safety of its employees.
TCS's Response to the Conflict
TCS, India's largest IT services company, has around 250 employees in Israel. The company stated that the ongoing conflict will not significantly impact its business operations. TCS has implemented business continuity plans to minimize any potential disruptions and ensure uninterrupted services to its customers. The company's Chief Operating Officer, N Ganapathy Subramaniam, emphasized the safety of their employees and their commitment to supporting the communities in which they operate.
As the situation in the Middle East remains tense, Indian IT companies with operations in Israel are prioritizing the safety of their employees. HCLTech, Infosys, and TCS have all confirmed that their employees are safe and have implemented measures to mitigate any potential impact on their business operations. The safety and well-being of their employees remain paramount for these companies during this challenging time.
