To strengthen its healthcare presence in North India, Park Medi World Limited has announced two significant breakthroughs.

In order to improve its footprint throughout the Tricity healthcare ecosystem, Park Group of Hospitals today authorized the opening of its state-of-the-art multi-super specialty hospital in Panchkula, which can accommodate 350 beds, and the addition of 150 beds to its current 350-bed facility in Mohali. On March 29, 2026, the Panchkula facility will open, giving patients in Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh more access to cutting-edge healthcare treatment.
"With the addition of the Panchkula hospital and the upcoming expansion at its Mohali campus (Grecian Super Specialty Hospital), Park Hospital's consolidated capacity across the Tricity region will reach 850 beds, making it the largest private healthcare network in the region," said Park Medi World in a regulatory statement.
The Tricity cluster consists of 350 current beds in Mohali, a recently opened facility in Panchkula with a potential of up to 350 beds, and an additional 150-bed super specialty extension in Mohali.
Dr. Ankit Gupta, Managing Director, Park Medi World Limited, said: "The launch of our Panchkula hospital and the expansion of our Mohali facility mark a significant milestone in Park Hospital's journey to strengthen advanced healthcare access across the Tricity region. With a combined capacity of 850 beds across our Mohali and Panchkula campuses, we are building one of the most comprehensive private healthcare networks in the region. The new Panchkula hospital, along with the upcoming 150-bed super speciality expansion in Mohali, reflects our long-term commitment to developing centres of excellence in high-acuity care. Our focus is on strengthening capabilities in areas such as oncology, neurosciences, gastro sciences, and robotic surgeries, while introducing advanced technologies that enable minimally invasive and patient-centric treatment. As healthcare needs continue to evolve across North India, our goal is to create an integrated ecosystem that brings together clinical expertise, technology, and scale to deliver world-class care closer to the communities we serve."
With investments going toward major high-acuity specialties including oncology, neurosciences, gastro sciences, and robotic surgeries, the proposed 150-bed super specialty expansion at Mohali will concentrate on enhancing advanced clinical skills. Additionally, the expansion will provide robotic joint replacement capabilities, which will significantly boost the hospital's capacity to provide state-of-the-art, minimally invasive treatment choices.
Currently running 15 hospitals with a total capacity of 3,610 beds, Park Group is the second-largest hospital chain in North India. In addition to expanding its current facilities to add 1,850 beds, Park Group is now integrating six other hospitals that are in varying states of completion. By March 2028, Park Group's total bed capacity will reach 5,460 thanks to these additions, demonstrating its rapid expansion and leadership in the provision of healthcare.
Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Panipat, Karnal, Sonipat, Ambala, Mohali, Patiala, Bathinda, Behror, Jaipur, and Agra are among the major cities where the Group has built a substantial presence. Park Group provides a wide range of clinical services, including super-specialties like cardiology, neurology, oncology, orthopaedics, gastroenterology, critical care, nephrology, organ transplants, gene therapy, stem-cell therapy, and the well-being of children and women.
