Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu extends an invitation to global investors, particularly in the green energy and tourism sectors, assuring full support and assistance from the state government.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu announced on Saturday that he has extended invitations to global investors to explore investment opportunities in the state's power, tourism, and green energy sectors. The state government is committed to providing all necessary assistance to potential investors, he assured.
Promoting Sustainable Industrial Development
Speaking to the media after laying the foundation stone for the Sirmour Haat village-level market in Purwala village, Paonta Sahib, Sukhu emphasized the importance of attracting environment-friendly investments to ensure sustainable industrial development. He revealed that investors from Dubai are expected to visit Himachal Pradesh in January 2023.
Vision of Self-Reliance
The Chief Minister outlined his mission to make Himachal Pradesh self-reliant by 2027, prioritizing the transformation of the state's investment environment and economy. He highlighted the construction of Sirmaur Haat as an initiative to support local products, artisans, and rural women, while also generating employment opportunities for members of local gram panchayats and self-help groups.
Sirmaur Haat: Empowering Local Artisans and Preserving Traditions
The upcoming three-storeyed Haat will span an area of 450 square meters and will be equipped with all essential facilities. Inspired by the successful She Haat in Sarahan, Sirmaur district, the Sirmaur Haat aims to showcase traditional dishes and provide tourists with an immersive experience of the region's rich lifestyle and traditions.
Himachal Pradesh's proactive approach to attracting global investments and promoting sustainable development positions the state as an attractive destination for businesses seeking opportunities in the power, tourism, and green energy sectors. The state government's commitment to supporting local artisans and preserving cultural heritage further enhances its appeal to both investors and tourists.
