Hindalco Share Price Today: Shares of aluminium major Hindalco surged sharply on Monday, March 30, tracking a strong rally in metal stocks amid rising metal supply concerns linked to the Iran-US conflict in West Asia. The geopolitical tensions have pushed global aluminium prices higher, boosting sentiment for the sector, while the company's board is set to consider a dividend in May.
Hindalco share price closed 2.65% higher at Rs 880.8 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 1,99,958.22 crore on Monday, March 30. The stock had dipped to its intraday low mark of Rs 875.20 per share and an intraday high mark of Rs 913 per share.

What Fuelled Hindalco Share Price Rally?
The surge in Hindalco share price coincided with rally in other metal stocks like Vedanta, NALCO, etc. The surge in metal stocks, including Hindalco, came amid reports that two Middle Eastern aluminium producers, Al Taweelah smelter of Emirates Global Aluminium and Aluminium Bahrain's (Alba) facility, faced severe damage due to Iranian missiles and drone attack on Saturday.
Jump in Aluminium Prices
Aluminium prices also jumped on the London Metal Exchange (LME). The metal price was up close to 6% on Monday to reach its four year high mark. The benchmark three-month aluminium price contract on the LME rose to $3,492 per metric tonne.
Hindalco Dividend
Hindalco's board of directors will consider and approve divided (if any) at its meeting, scheduled for May 22. The company will also announce its fourth quarter result for the financial year 2025-26.
"A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, inter alia to 'Consider and approve the Audited Standalone and Consolidated financial results of the Company for the quarter and year ending March 31, 2026 ["said results' and 'Recommend dividend, if any, on the equity shares of the Company for the financial year ending March 31, 2026.'," as per Hindalco BSE filing released last week.
