Hurun Rich List 2025: From Bollywood's Badshah Shah Rukh Khan to Perplexity AI's Aravind Srinivas, the M3M Hurun India Rich List 2025, on Wednesday, showcased several firsts and unexpected names. While business tycoon Mukesh Ambani continues to hold the crown as India's richest person, this year's list also welcomes a wave of new entrants.
The Hurun India Rich List saw nearly 1,0004 individuals increase their wealth. Out of all the people mentioned on the list, 284 were new faces, whereas, 643 people featured saw their wealth decline, reported Hindustan Times.

Mukesh Ambani Remains Richest Indian in 2025, Top 3 Indian Names
Mukesh Ambani and his family lead the list with a net worth of Rs 9.55 lakh crore. The Reliance Group Chairman retained the top spot despite nearly 6% drop in their wealth. Gautam Adani and family hold second place with Rs 8.15 lakh crore after a 30% decline.
Roshni Nadar Creates History As Richest Indian Woman
Third position on the list features HCL Technologies Chairperson, Roshni Nadar. The Indian business woman saw her net worth swell to Rs 2.84 crore and became the richest Indian woman in 2025.
The combined wealth of those on the list is ₹167 lakh crore, which is a 5% increase from last year. This amount surpasses Spain's GDP and is nearly half of India's GDP. Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan Enters The List For First Time!
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan joined the list for the first time ever with a net worth of Rs 12,490 crore. As per the list, a large chunk of SRK's wealth comes from Red Chillies Entertainment and its diverse ventures. With this, SRK is way ahead of his friend and Yes Boss co-star Juhu Chawla (net worth of Rs 7,790 crore) and Hrithik Roshan (net worth of Rs 2,160 crore).
Perplexity CEO Aravind Srinivas Youngest Indian On The List
Aravind Srinivas who made headlines across the world with his artificial intelligence (AI) venture Perplexity, became the youngest entrant in the list. Srinivas, with a net worth of Rs 21,190 crore, is the youngest Indian billionaire of the year, according to the list.
Kaivalya Vohra (22) from Zepto is the youngest entrant overall, followed by his co-founder Aadit Palicha (23). Vijay Shekhar Sharma of Paytm regained billionaire status due to a significant share price surge. Additionally, Garima Sawhney, co-founder of Pristyn Care at age 39, is noted as the youngest self-made woman on this list.
Niraj Bajaj & family led in absolute terms by adding Rs 69,875 crore to reach Rs 2.33 lakh crore. At age 96, Deepak Mehta & family are among veteran entrants alongside others like Milan Mehta & family from Precision Wires India.
