Congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his third consecutive electoral victory, a prominent American corporate leader expressed confidence in the ongoing positive momentum between India and the US. With the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) securing a majority in the Lok Sabha, Modi is set to form the government for a third term. This victory comes despite significant losses in three Hindi heartland states, in an election that was seen as a referendum on Modi's popularity. The Election Commission of India announced results for 542 of the 543 Lok Sabha constituencies, with the BJP winning 240 seats and the Congress securing 99.

John Chambers, Chairman Emeritus of Cisco, praised Modi's leadership for bringing about substantial economic progress and advancements in digitisation. "Congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has captured his third term during India's general election," Chambers remarked in a social media post. He further emphasized his optimism about India's future, stating, "Keep an eye on India -- I have no doubt this positive momentum will continue."
Former Pakistani ambassador to the US, Husain Haqqani, also extended his congratulations to the people of India for their commitment to democracy through their 18th parliamentary elections since 1947, highlighting the absence of allegations of massive rigging or stolen mandates.
African-American singer Mary Millben celebrated Modi's reelection as a historic day for both India and the world. In her video message, she referred to Modi as "the chosen leader for India," lauded by both God and the people of Bharat. Millben expressed her happiness for Modi's victory and commended his leadership, which has been recognized globally.
"As you enter your historic third term, I hope you will continue to be God's ambassador as you lead," Millben said, addressing Modi directly and emphasizing the responsibility he carries for India's 1.4 billion people.
Former US Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard also congratulated Modi on his electoral success. She looked forward to further collaboration between the world's oldest and largest democracies, focusing on common goals and mutual interests.
This series of congratulations from international figures underscores the global interest in India's political landscape and its implications for international relations, particularly between India and the United States. The continued support from global leaders reflects an anticipation of sustained growth and stability under Modi's leadership.
