The Mumbai traffic police have warned commuters of major traffic congestion around Marine Drive. The match will start at 7 pm, and entry will start at 4 pm, there could be a heavy crowd and traffic congestion near the surrounding roads in the second half of the day.
Commuters heading to South Mumbai in the second half of the day are advised to plan journeys carefully and check for road blockades and diversions.
-The Mumbai Police has urged people to avoid unnecessary travel near Marine Drive during the match window. Commuters have also been asked to keep extra time in hand to handle likely queues and long-traffic jam.
-Cricket fans who are planning to attend the India vs England T20 World Cup semi final match have been urged to take public transport to avoid last minute parking chaos.
-Recommended options include Western Railway services to Churchgate and Marine Lines railway stations, along with Mumbai Metro Line 3, also called the Aqua Line, which connects to Churchgate Station for easier access.
Mumbai Traffic Advisory for India vs England T20 Match Today: Gate-Wise Entry Plan At Wankhede
The police has also released a gate-wise entry plan for spectators and audience. Those holding tickets for Gates 1 and 7 should reach via Churchgate Railway Station or Churchgate Metro Station, then proceed along E Road. This route is aimed at easing pressure on Marine Drive and nearby internal roads before and after the game.
Fans with tickets for Gates 3 and 4 have been asked to get down at Marine Lines Railway Station. They can then use the foot overbridge near the Roopkala showroom on Maharshi Karve Road. Spectators headed for Gates 5 and 6 may travel via Churchgate Railway Station or Churchgate Metro Station and take the foot overbridge on Maharshi Karve Road opposite the Income Tax Office.

The T20 World Cup semi final match is set to begin at 7 pm on Thursday, March 5. Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium's gates will open for spectators of the cricket match from 4 pm.
India entered the semi-final after winning six of seven matches in the tournament. The only defeat came in the Super 8 stage, when India lost to South Africa by 76 runs. England, the defending champions, are trying to become the first team to retain the T20 World Cup trophy.
This is the third straight T20 World Cup where India and England meet in the semi-finals, with each team winning once in previous meetings at this stage. The winner of Thursday's clash moves to Sunday's final against either South Africa or New Zealand, who contest the other semi-final on Wednesday.
