A major force in the global VFX industry, Basilic Fly Studio Limited (NSE: BASILIC), which went public on the NSE Emerge platform in 2023, has announced that it has raised Rs 84.99 Cr through its Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP). From September 8, 2025, until September 11, 2025, the issue was open.

The company authorised the allocation of 20,25,000 equity shares with a face value of Rs 10 each at an issue price of Rs 419.72 per share (plus a premium of Rs 409.72 per share), which represents a 5% discount to the floor price of Rs 441.81, during its board meeting on September 11, 2025. Several investors received more than 5% of the equity shares offered in the QIP, according to the company.
Prominent institutional investors made a substantial contribution to the Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP). The largest investor, Astone Capital VCC-Arven, acquired 2,38,500 shares, or 11.78% of the total securities allotted in the QIP.
Following this, 1,90,800 shares (9.42%) were acquired by Vikasa India EIF I Fund-Incube Global Opportunities. Rajasthan Global Securities Pvt. Ltd. and Astone Capital VCC-Alpha A2 each received 1,43,100 shares, or accounting for 7.07% apiece. Moneywise Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. (5.90%), North Star Opportunities Fund VCC - Lighthouse Capital Incorporated VCC Sub-Fund (5.88%), Dovetail India Fund Class 8 Shares (5.93%), and Beacon Stone Capital VCC - Beacon Stone I (5.88%) are other significant investors. At Rs 419.72 per share, the share allocations demonstrate strong interest from NBFCs and Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs).
In addition to marking a major milestone in the company's development, Basilic Fly Studio recently revealed on September 10th that it had achieved a historic milestone by recording its highest-ever bidding volumes in recent months, totalling £ 40.75 million.
