Indofast Energy will deploy 20,000 e-Sprinto electric two-wheelers in India by 2026. This initiative aims to enhance electric mobility and support the gig economy through efficient battery-swapping solutions.
Indofast Energy has announced a partnership with e-Sprinto to deploy 20,000 electric two-wheelers across India by 2026. This initiative aims to boost electric mobility adoption in the country. The collaboration will integrate e-Sprinto's expanding electric vehicle range with Indofast's widespread battery-swapping network, facilitating seamless operations nationwide.

Battery Swapping Network Expansion
The partnership offers a two-minute battery swap solution, reducing range anxiety and charging downtime for delivery partners. This infrastructure will be crucial for quick commerce, e-commerce, and food delivery sectors. By establishing battery-swapping points along high-demand routes, it will lower operating costs and ensure uninterrupted service for gig economy workers.
Indofast Energy plans to deploy 2,750 swap stations and support 1.5 lakh vehicles by March 2026. The company aims to establish 10,000 swapping points in over 40 cities within three years. This expansion reflects Indofast's commitment to transitioning from B2B to B2C segments, showcasing the scalability of its infrastructure.
Strategic Collaboration Benefits
Anant Badjatya, CEO of Indofast Energy, highlighted the partnership with e-Sprinto as a step towards a sustainable electric future. "We have partnered with e-Sprinto, an OEM that shares our vision for a sustainable and accessible electric future," he said. This collaboration enhances Indofast's reach across diverse customer segments and accelerates its EV deployment goals.
Atul Gupta, Co-founder and Director of e-Sprinto, expressed enthusiasm about the alliance. "Our collaboration with Indofast Energy is nothing short of a game-changer for e-Sprinto and the broader EV market," he stated. The extensive battery-swapping network complements e-Sprinto's vehicles, offering customers convenience and efficiency.
Indofast Energy has already established over 1,000 battery-swapping stations in 10 states and 22 cities across India. This network expansion supports the strategic rollout of electric two-wheelers and strengthens the company's position in the EV market.
The collaboration between Indofast Energy and e-Sprinto marks a significant milestone in India's electric mobility landscape. By integrating advanced battery-swapping solutions with a growing fleet of electric vehicles, both companies aim to revolutionise delivery operations and promote sustainable transportation options nationwide.
