This week, the primary market is flooded with 12 new public offers and lining up eight listings. But last week, also saw some frenzy buying in both maiden and SME IPOs. A total of four IPOs worth Rs 2,471.3 crore closed last week with oversubscriptions including DOMS Industries and India Shelter Finance Corporation. However, it would be SME IPOs of SJ Logistics and Presstonic Engineering that are bound to be listed on NSE EMERGE, subscribed the most.
Here is how these IPOs performed last week:
1. DOMS Industries:
DOMS which planned to raise Rs 1,200 crore from its public offer, comprised a fresh issue of Rs 350 crore and an offer for sale of Rs 850 crore. The IPO opened on December 13 and closed on December 15. The price band for the IPO was fixed at Rs Rs 750 per Equity Share to Rs 790 per Equity Share.

On the final day, DOMS IPO subscribed 93.52 times driven by qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) whose portion subscribed 115.97 times. The portion for non-institutional investors and retail individual investors subscribed 66.51 times and 69.67 times respectively.
2. India Shelter Finance Corporation:
India Shelter IPO also entered the primary market for subscription on December 13 and closed on December 15. The company too planned to raise about Rs 1,200 crore via its public offer. The price band of the IPO was fixed at Rs 469 to Rs 493 per share.
On the last day, the IPO subscribed 36.71 times. The portion for QIBs received robust demand with an oversubscription of 89.70 times, followed by non-institutional investors and retail investors whose portion subscribed by 28.51 times and 9.95 times respectively.
3. SJ Logistics:
This Rs 48 crore worth public offer bagged humungous demand and oversubscribed by 316.26 times. The retail investors' portion oversubscribed by 356.33 times, and QIBs tapped the IPO to oversubscription by 116.16 times. The biggest investors in the IPO were non-institutional buyers who subscribed to the offer by 489.45 times.
S J Logistics IPO opened on December 12 and closed on December 13. The price band of the IPO is fixed at Rs 121 to Rs 125 per share. While its bid lot size is 1,000 Equity Shares and in multiples thereof. The proposed equity shares will be listed on NSE EMERGE.
4. Presstonic Engineering:
This Rs 23.30 crore worth SME IPO opened on December 11th on NSE and closed on December 13th. The proposed equity shares will be listed on BSE and NSE. The price band was fixed at Rs 72 per share.
On Day 3, the IPO oversubscribed by 164.19 times, with overwhelming response from retail individual investors (RIIs) whose portion got oversubscribed by 181.14 times, while non-institutional investors subscribed by 133.24 times, and QIBs portion subscribed by 115.97 times.
Upcoming IPOs And Listing Between December 18-22nd:
This week, a total of 12 IPOs will be available for subscriptions in the primary market. In the mainboard, these IPOs are -- Muthoot Microfin, Motisons Jewellers, Suraj Estate Developers, Happy Forgings, RBZ Jewellers, Credo Brands Marketing, Azad Engineering, Innova Captab, and Inox India.
Among SMEs, IPOs of Sahara Maritime, Shanti Spintex, Electro Force (India), and Trident Techlabs will open between December 18th to 22nd. While companies like Shree OSFM E-Mobility, Siyaram Recycling Industries and Benchmark Computer Solutions will be closing their public offers.
There are a host of IPOs that will make their market debut as well. These include DOMS Industries, India Shelter Finance and Inox India on the mainboard which means both BSE and NSE. Three SME IPOs Presstonic Engineering, Shree OSFM E-Mobility and S J Logistics (India) will be listed on NSE Emerge. Also, companies like Siyaram Recycling Industries and Benchmark Computer Solutions will be listed on BSE SME.
