The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the results of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2 for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) today on April 17, as per the schedule in the official information bulletin. The NTA will also announce the names and marks of the highest-scoring candidates with result declaration. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check and download their scorecards from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
How to check JEE Mains 2025 Result?
To check your JEE Main 2025 Session 2 result, follow these simple steps:
- Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. in your browser.
- Click on the result link for Session 2 on the home page.
- Enter your login details.
- Now you can view your result.
- Download the soft copy of your result.

Before giving the final result, NTA put out the provisional answer key for JEE Main Session 2 on April 10, 2025. Candidates were allowed to check the answer key and, if they found any wrong answers, they could report it to the NTA by April 13, 2025. They had to send their objection with documents or proof to show why the answer was incorrect. After checking all the objections, NTA will publish the final answer key along with the results today.
JEE Mains 2025 Results Session 2 : Expected Cut Off Marks
Based on past trends and the difficulty of the exam, experts have estimated the expected JEE Main 2025 cutoff percentiles. They expect the cutoff for the General category to be above 93 percentile. For the General-PwD category, the cutoff is likely to be between 0.0017 and 92 percentile. The cutoff for the OBC-NCL category is projected to fall between 78 and 92 percentile. For SC candidates, the expected range is between 61 and 92 percentile, while for ST candidates, it is likely between 47 and 92 percentile. The expected range for EWS category candidates is between 83 and 92 percentile.
IIT JEE Advance 2025: JoSAA Counselling Process
Students who get qualifying ranks in the JEE Main 2025 results will need to start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025, which is the next step to get into IITs. JEE Advanced is conducted for the candidates who wish to apply for admission to Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech ), and other technical courses available in NITs, IIITs, or other government colleges (GFTIs) will have to take part in the JoSAA counselling process, which is expected to start in June 2025.
