Karisma Kapoor's children, Kiaan and Samaira, have taken legal action in the Delhi High Court concerning their father's passing. They are challenging the circumstances surrounding Sunjay Kapur's death, who was married to Priya Sachdev at that time. Sunjay Kapur, who passed away on June 12, had two children with Karisma: Kiaan and Samaira.
The siblings have accused their stepmother, Priya Kapur, of forging Sunjay Kapur's will to gain control over his assets. According to a Bar and Bench report, they allege that Priya, along with Dinesh Agarwal and Nitin Sharma, delayed presenting the will for over seven weeks until a family meeting on July 30, 2025.

Allegations of Forgery
The children argue that the will is neither legal nor valid and is surrounded by suspicious circumstances. They claim they haven't seen the original or received a copy of this alleged will. The plaintiffs are seeking recognition as Class I legal heirs and demand a one-fifth share each of their father's estate.
Before his sudden death while playing polo in Windsor on June 12, 2025, Sunjay Kapur had assured his children of their financial security. He involved them in business ventures and personal milestones. The plaintiffs state that he promised them future well-being through various assurances.
Legal Battle Over Assets
The case involves multiple parties: Karisma Kapoor's children represented by her in court; Priya Kapur and her minor son; Sunjay's mother; and another woman claiming to be the executor of the contested will. The plaintiffs accuse Priya of initially denying any will existed and later presenting a suspicious document dated March 21, 2025.
After Sunjay's death, tensions rose when Priya allegedly restricted access to trust documents and financial assets. The children performed his final rites on June 19 at Lodhi Cremation Ground. They further allege being summoned to corporate meetings without full transparency regarding trust-related records.
Seeking Justice
The plaintiffs assert that Sunjay had initiated business ventures in their names and named them beneficiaries of the family trust. They believe these actions reflected his commitment to their future. However, after his passing, they faced challenges accessing trust-related information.
The court case highlights the complex dynamics within the family following Sunjay Kapur's demise. As legal proceedings continue, Kiaan and Samaira seek justice for what they believe is rightfully theirs amidst allegations of forgery and manipulation.
