All transportations are likely to be impacted by the strike. The nationwide protest is expected to hit public transportations like government-backed buses and trains. Further, the protest could enforce roadblocks that would lead to further disruption in commutation through taxis, Ola, Uber, rickshaws and local trains.
Markets, local shops and restaurants are expected to be closed due to the protest taking place on the street. Also, if you're departing and arriving from airports, you will need to manage your time accordingly. In case of visiting airports, ensure to leave early due to traffic congestions.

Additionally, midday meal services in government schools may be disrupted. As per Jnanesh MP, the executive officer of Akshara Dasoha in Dakshina Kannada, midday meal workers are participating in the strike, and hence the services could be impacted.
