Coastal Karnataka: Orange Alert for October 23
The IMD has placed coastal Karnataka, including the Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, under an orange alert on October 23, predicting very heavy rain, thundershowers, lightning, and squally winds. The region will continue to experience heavy rainfall and thunderstorms under yellow alerts on October 24 and 25, before weather conditions improve from October 26 to 29.
North Interior Karnataka: Yellow Alert for Three Days
For north interior Karnataka, including districts such as Belagavi, Bidar, and Kalaburagi, the IMD has issued yellow alerts from October 23 to 25, forecasting thunderstorms with lightning and winds at isolated places.
South Interior Karnataka: Heavy Rain Likely
In south interior Karnataka, which includes Bengaluru, Mysuru, Chikkamagaluru, and Mandya, the IMD has sounded an orange alert on October 23 for Bengaluru weather, expecting heavy rain and thunderstorm activity, followed by yellow alerts on October 24 and 25. According to the forecast. Bengaluru weather is expected to ease from October 26 to 29, bringing relief from continuous rainfall.
Bengaluru Weather Today
Bengaluru's weather for today, 23 October, is expected to feature a generally cloudy sky with light to moderate rain or thundershowers likely throughout the day. The maximum temperature in the urban region is forecasted to reach 26°C, while the minimum will be around 21°C.
