Karnataka Weather Update: Several districts in Karnataka have been witnessing rainfall over the past few days. The India Meteorological Department has forecasted rainfall in multiple districts on Thursday. Most of these districts were on yellow alert yesterday in the wake of rainfall accompanied by lightning. Meanwhile, Bangalore's weather today is likely to remain sunny with no signs of rain.
The IMD, in its latest bulletin, has predicted light to moderate rainfall in the districts of South Interior Karnataka and mentioned that the rest of the state will witness dry weather.

Karnataka Weather Update
As per IMD update, Karnataka's Udupi, Dakshina Kannada Kodagu, Hassan and Chikkamagaluru districts are likely to experience light to moderate rain and thundershowers on Thursday, March 27. People in these districts are likely to face gusty winds of 30-40 Kmph. Meanwhile, other districts of Karnataka will witness dry weather today.
On Wednesday, the Karnataka State Natural Disaster shared an IMD yellow alert warning for multiple state districts in the wake of rainfall and disruptions. In its alert issued on March 26, the IMD had issued an alert for Udupi, Dakshin Kannada, Uttar Kannada, Belgaum, Dharvad, Haveri, Chamarajnagar, Chikkamagalur, Hasan, Kodagu, and Shivamogga districts for three hours on Wednesday evening.
Harsh weather in these Karnataka districts on Wednesday might have led to traffic snarls, temporarily electricity disruptions, and possible uprooting of weak tree branches.
The weather forecasting agency has predicted dry weather in Karnataka over the coming days till 1 April. Additionally, parts of north Interior Karnataka will witness a rise in temperature bu 2-4 degree Celsius on Thursday and Friday. South Interior karnataka will also witness a similar pattern in temperature rise. Additionally, coastal Karnataka districts will not experience any rise in temperature in the rest of the week.

Bangalore Weather Today: No signs of rain in Karnataka capital
Bangaore weather today is likely to remain sunny with clear sky. IMD forecast doesn't include any possibility of rain in the metro city on Wednesday. As per the prediction, Bangalore is likely to witness clear sky. The maximum and minimum temperature of the city is likely to hover around 34°C and 21°C, respectively.
Warm weather in Bangalore will be accompanied by light mist and frog during the early hours of the day. But warm weather will prevail by the afternoon due to clear skies. There is no possibility of rainfall.
Bangalore's sunny weather is likely to dampen the hope of city residents to get respite from scorching heat. Few days ago, the city witnessed a sudden episode of rainfall, which brought immense relief from scorching summer.
The unexpected shower of rain was accompanied with much-needed cool breez, but heavy downpour also led to severe waterlogging, traffic congestion, and flight disruptions.The sudden rainfall impacted flight operations, with at least 19 flights diverted from Bengaluru to various destinations. Among them, 10 were rerouted to Chennai due to adverse weather conditions, according to airport officials.IndiGo Airlines advised passengers to regularly check their flight status and have provided flexible rebooking options and refunds through their website.
