Kerala Local Body Elections 2025 begins today the State Election Commission (SEC) has urged citizens to verify their voter details ahead of polling. The Election Commission of India publishes a constituency-wise voters list that includes the names of all eligible voters, and checking your name in the list is very important to ensure your voting rights on the polling day.

Kerala Local Body Election Dates & Districts Voting
Kerala Local Body Election Voting will take place in two phases across the state, with polling scheduled from 7 am to 6 pm.
Phase 1 will be held on December 9 for Districts, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, and Ernakulam.
Phase 2 will be held on December 11 for Districts Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod
Voters must make sure that their name appears in the final voters' list published after the September 2025 revisions.
How to Check Your Name in the Kerala Voters List (Online Method)
The easiest way to verify your voter registration is through the State Election Commission Kerala website i.e sec.kerala.gov.in under the Voter Services section. Follow the Step-by-Step Process to Check if your Name is present in the Kerala Voters List.
Step 1: Visit: sec.kerala.gov.in and go to Voter Services
Step 2: Choose either View Voters List, or Search Voter
Step 3: You will find search options like State-wise search, Local Body-wise search, Ward-wise search
Step 4: For State-Level Search Click Search Voter Statewise and then Choose Search by EPIC/SEC ID
Step 5: Enter EPIC number, old/new SEC ID, or your full name to view your voter details, polling booth, and constituency
Step6 : For Local Body / Ward Search, select District
Step 7: Select Local Body (Panchayat / Municipality / Corporation) then select Ward
Step 8: you will then have to enter details such as Name, EPIC/SEC ID, Father's Name and your complete voter information and polling station details will appear if your name is included in the final list.

Offline Verification Method
For those who are unaware of the online process or do not have access to the internet, printed voter lists are available at Local Panchayat/Municipality/Corporation office or the Taluk office and even your nearest polling station.
What to Do If Your Name Is Missing from the Kerala Voters List
If you cannot find your name in the voters list, apply for inclusion through the SEC Kerala online forms. Always make sure that your mobile number is valid for OTP verification. Applicants must complete the process before polling days, as no new entries are permitted during the election period.
