As the nation commemorates this day, there's an urgent update for beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan). PM-Kisan Scheme
Launched on February 24, 2019, the PM-Kisan scheme provides financial assistance of Rs. 6,000 annually to eligible landholder farmers in three equal installments of Rs. 2,000 each. The 18th installment was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in October, and now, all eyes are on the 19th installment.

Mandatory Farmer Registry for the 19th Installment and Benefits
It is very important for farmers across the nation to complete their Farmer Registry by December 31 to receive the upcoming installment. If someone fails to complete the registration could result in the suspension of the Kisan Nidhi payment.
It is important to note that only registered farmers will receive the 19th installment of Rs. 2,000 under PM-Kisan. Post this registry Farmers will benefit from discounts on seeds, fertilizers, and agricultural equipment, along with easier access to Kisan Credit Cards (KCC) and bank loans.
Furthermore, the registry will help verify land ownership, reducing the risk of fraudulent claims and ensuring transparency in land transactions.
Step by Step Guide to Complete the Farmer Registry
Completing the Farmer Registry is a simple process requiring minimal documentation. Farmers only need their Aadhaar card and a mobile phone. Farmers can also visit their nearest Jan Seva Kendra for help with registration.
Step 1: Visit the web portal: https://upfr.agristack.gov.in. or one can also use the "Farmer Registry UP" mobile app.
Step 2: Register using OTP verification or Face ID.
The Farmer Registry aims to establish an integrated record of farmers, ensuring that all benefits and services are received by genuine beneficiaries. It also helps prevent land disputes and fraud, creating a more transparent agricultural system. Farmers are urged to complete their registration by December 31 to avoid missing out on the 19th installment of the PM-Kisan scheme.
