Magellanic Cloud, an IT services company based in Hyderabad, has unveiled its ambitious plan to exceed Rs 600 crore in revenue within the next two years. Joseph Sudheer Thumma, the Managing Director and Global CEO, highlighted that the company is leveraging new opportunities from the rise of AI to reach this goal. In the fiscal year 2023-24, Magellanic Cloud reported a revenue of Rs 564 crore.

Strategic Investments and Growth Plans
The company plans to increase its workforce to 5,000 employees to support its growth objectives. It has invested over Rs 377 crore in acquiring companies specialising in e-surveillance, IT, and drone technology. These acquisitions are currently in progress, with discussions and financial due diligence underway. Magellanic Cloud aims to finalise these deals by the end of the first quarter of FY26.
Magellanic Cloud is establishing an AI and deep-tech centre in Telangana. This facility will focus on developing advanced video analytics and security solutions. "Our expanded facilities in Telangana will serve as a center of excellence for developing sophisticated video analytics systems that transform raw data into actionable intelligence for both public and private sector clients," said Joseph.
AI Integration and Technological Advancements
The company positions itself as a diversified technology firm offering e-surveillance, video analytics, deep-tech drone manufacturing, and digital transformation-focused IT services. By integrating AI into its offerings, Magellanic Cloud aims to enhance its value proposition for both domestic and international clients. The company is exploring opportunities for capability enhancement and inorganic growth to capitalise on AI advancements.
