MIC Electronics Limited announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Top2 PTE Limited, a Singaporean company, to look into, find, and choose a Taiwanese semiconductor partner. This MOU aims to provide a framework for MIC to collaborate with Top2 to look into, identify, and determine a semiconductor fabrication partner from Taiwan. Subject to financial feasibility, agreements, and regulatory compliance, the goal is to start producing semiconductor wafers with a target capacity of 25,000 to 30,000 wafers per month.

Following the above announcement, the shares of MIC Electronics ended 5.72% higher on the BSE at Rs 74.99 per share on Wednesday, 10th September. The market cap of the company reached Rs 1,807.35 Cr.
Over the course of the last year, the stock has had considerable volatility, reaching a 52-week high of Rs 114.74 on September 19, 2024, and a 52-week low of Rs 44.50 on August 8, 2025. The stock is currently trading significantly above its yearly low at Rs 74.99, showing a rebound of more than 68% from those levels, although it is still around 35% below its peak.
Additionally, the firm has announced that on Monday, September 29, 2025, the 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM) would take place at the registered office located at Plot No. 192/B, Phase-II, IDA, Cherlapally, Hyderabad, Rangareddi, Telangana - 500051.
"The Register of Members and Share Transfer Books of the Company shall remain closed from Wednesday, September 24, 2025 to September 29, 2025 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of the 37th Annual General Meeting and the Record date (Cutoff date) is Tuesday, September 23, 2025 for taking record of the Shareholders of the Company for the purpose of 37th Annual General Meeting of the Company for F.Y.2024-25," said MIC Electronics in a stock exchange filing.
Through Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) e-voting platform at www.evotingindia.com (EVSN: 250901077), MIC Electronics is offering its shareholders the chance to vote electronically (Remote e-voting).
"The remote e-voting will commence on Friday, September 26, 2025 (9:00 A.M.) and end on Sunday, September 28, 2025 (5:00 P.M.). The detailed instructions for, inter-alia, remote e-voting prior to 37th AGM and the ballot voting at the 37th AGM are mentioned in the Notice of 37th AGM," MIC Electronics has further informed stock exchanges.
