Midcap PSU Company Received Order Worth Rs 3177 Crore From BMRC

In its most recent exchange report, BEML disclosed that Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRC) has given the company an order worth roughly Rs 3177 crore. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation will receive Rolling Stock Contract 5RS-DM from BEML as part of this transaction.

"We hereby inform that BEML Limited has secured the Letter of Acceptance from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRC) for supply of Rolling stock contract 5RS-DM valued at approximately Rs. 3,177 crores," BEML said in an exchange filing.

On Wednesday, the shares of BEML witnessed a decline in early trade, currently, trading at Rs 2017.40 per share, down 1.59% from its previous close. The stock opened at Rs 2054.95, while its previous close was Rs 2049.90 on BSE.

The shares at 11.55 AM hit an intraday high of Rs 2054.95 and an intraday low of Rs 2011.80. The stock's 52-week high is Rs 2132 per share and 52-week low is Rs 1129.10 on BSE. It has a market capitalization of Rs 8401.36 Crore.

The stock has given a strong return of 31.46% in the last 1 month, however, it declined 1.60% in the last 1 week. In 3 and 6 months, it gave a strong return of 43.40% and 46.51%, respectively. In 1 year, it gave 65.06% return, while in 3 years, it gave 269.15% return. It witnessed 199.13% jump in its share in the last 5 years.
