The Operations and Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of Paisalo Digital Limited will meet on November 21, 2025, to discuss and approve the proposal to raise funds through the issuance of non-convertible debentures on a private placement basis, according to a statement released by Paisalo Digital, a small-cap company in the NBFC sector.

This announcement followed the release of Paisalo Digital's financial results for the quarter ending September 30, 2025, which showed strong AUM growth. Paisalo Digital is a digitally enabled NBFC with over thirty years of operating experience in lending to underserved, financially excluded, and emerging MSME/SME segments.
The company performed well in Q2FY26, with AUM increasing to Rs 5,449.4 crore from Rs 4,535.2 crore a year earlier. This is a 20% YoY gain and a 4% QoQ rise compared to Rs 5,230.2 crore. Strong business impetus was evident as disbursements climbed to Rs 1,102.5 crore, up 41% YoY and 45% QoQ. With a 20% YoY and 2% QoQ rise, total income reached Rs 224 crore. Net profit improved to Rs 51.5 crore, up 3% YoY and 9% QoQ, indicating higher profitability.
With Gross NPA at 0.81% and Net NPA at 0.65%, asset quality was steady with only slight YoY and QoQ gains. Profitability ratios deteriorated somewhat, with ROA at 3.6% and ROE at 11.7%, although both remained at solid levels despite modest compression from the previous quarter and last year, while NIM remained stable at 6.5%.
As of Q2FY26, the company's total geographic footprint was 4,380 touchpoints spread across 22 states, up from 3,275 touchpoints in Q2FY25. Meanwhile, the customer franchise grew to a record of around 13 million, with an additional 1.8 million customers throughout the quarter.
SBI Life Insurance now owns a 6.83% stake in Paisalo Digital as of September 2025, down from 8.96% the previous quarter. According to BSE, the stake comprises 62,114,267 equity shares and is a part of the company's investment portfolio in the small-cap NBFC.
With a network of 4,380 contact points spread throughout 22 Indian states and union territories, Paisalo Digital has a broad geographic reach. As of November 19 | 11:05 AM, Paisalo Digital's market capitalization was around Rs 3,094 Cr, while its shares were trading on the BSE at about Rs 32 per share.
