Nifty Bank Hits A New 52-Week High; PSU Banks Trade Lower
Even as benchmark indices have pared their early morning gains, Nifty Bank index continues its upward trajectory after hitting a new high of 32,541. At 10:34 am, the index was trading higher by 0.52% or 170.05 points at 32582.40.

Nifty Bank Index on December 30, 2019 recorded a 52-week high of 32613 points.
Gains in the banking index were primarily led by positive movement in stocks including HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra, IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank and IDFC First Bank.
While some of the other constituents mainly stocks from the public sector bank space were trading in the red including SBI, Bank of Baroda and PNB.
Meanwhile, Sensex and Nifty quote at 41670.94 and 12272.15, respectively with gains of around 0.22% each.
