Despite a slight dip in revenue during the nine-month period that ended in December for the year 2024, the NECCL recorded substantial growth in the net profit. This indicates the sheer dominance that North Eastern Carrying Corporation Ltd maintains over the logistics industry in the country.

NECC Limited's revenue figures reveal that the net sales of the company dropped to Rs. 80.05 crores as compared to Rs. 85.58 crores in Q3 of FY 2024. The net profit also took a dip falling from Rs. 2.52 crores to Rs. 1.94 crores in the same period. In the nine month period ending December 2024, the sales dropped to Rs. 240.63 crores whereas for the same period last year, it was Rs. 243.27 crores. On a positive note, the net profit increased to Rs. 8.49 crores compared to Rs. 5.16 crores during the corresponding period. This reflects a strong profitability growth of 64.53%.
NECCL is becoming increasingly appealing to foreign institutional investors (FIIs). The stake of FIIs increased from 0.01% in September 2024 to 0.04% in December 2024 after acquiring an additional 25,061 shares in December 2024. The company is valued at Rs. 295 crores making it a strong contender in the logistics market.
NECCL is still upgrading its infrastructure and services. The company is constructing an advanced 183,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility in the vicinity of Gurugram, increasing its bulk logistics operational capability. In addition, NECCL is investing in SG Green Logistics and is expanding its fleet of electric cars, reaffirming its commitment to meet the international best standards in logistics technology and sustainable development.
