In celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday, the Union Ministry of Culture has launched the 7th edition of the Prime Minister's Mementos E-auction, featuring over 1,300 gifts and memorabilia received by the PM over the past year. The online auction has begun today, September 17 and will continue until October 2, with all proceeds directed towards the Namami Gange Mission.

The auction was officially announced by Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat during a press conference held at the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) in New Delhi, where all the auction items are currently on public display.

Among the most valuable items this year is a statue of Goddess Tulja Bhavani, encased in a glass miniature temple with intricate pillars and motifs. The spiritual artefact has been assigned a base price of Rs 1,03,95,000, the highest in this auction.
Notably, this year's collection also includes sports memorabilia from Indian Paralympians who competed at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. These include:
Ajeet Singh's spike shoes, worn during his silver medal-winning performance in the Javelin F46 event at the 2024 Paris Paralympics, have a base price of Rs 7,70,000.
Simran Sharma's bronze medal-winning shoes, used in the 200m T12 category, are also listed with a base price of Rs 7,70,000.
Nishad Kumar's high jump silver medal shoes, from the same Paralympics, are similarly valued at Rs 7,70,000.
A metallic model of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, featuring intricate architectural elements and a silver finish, carries a base price of Rs 5,50,000.
A Tanjore painting of Ram Darbar, showcasing traditional South Indian art, is one of the notable artworks featured.
A luxurious Pashmina shawl from Jammu & Kashmir highlights the rich textile tradition of the region.
A unique piece of Rogan art from Gujarat, depicting the famous Tree of Life, is also part of the collection.
A handwoven shawl from Nagaland, representing tribal craftsmanship, is among the items celebrating India's cultural diversity.
A red chunari decorated with gold mirror work is available with a starting bid of Rs 600.
A saffron angavastra featuring a lotus emblem is listed at Rs 800.
An orange embroidered angavastra is priced slightly higher at Rs 900.
Where To Go See This Exhibitions and How To Participate in PM Modi Gifts Auction 2025
The full collection is available for public viewing at NGMA, Delhi, where an exhibition note describes the items as "symbols of gratitude and cultural identity." Citizens across the country can place their bids online at pmmementos.gov.in
Since its inception in 2019, the PM Mementos E-auction has raised over Rs 50 crore, supporting the Namami Gange initiative. The most successful edition so far was in 2023, when the auction fetched over Rs 11 crore.
In earlier editions, high-profile items included Olympic memorabilia, such as Neeraj Chopra's javelin, which fetched over Rs 1.5 crore in 2021. The 2022 auction raised nearly Rs 8.5 crore, while the 2024 edition brought in just Rs 2 crore, affected by the general elections and limited public display.
