Internationally, crude prices gained today and are on course to post good weekly gains. This is as near term supply concerns surfaced as energy companies began shutting in production in the Gulf of Mexico ahead of a potential hurricane forecast to hit on the weekend. US WTI crude future gained to $67.58 per barrel, hence close to posting 8% gains for the week, its strongest since February.
