Prices of petrol and diesel were cut on March 30, by oil marketing companies (OMCs) like Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation.
State-run OMCs as they are often called have cut petrol and diesel prices by 22 paise and 23 paise, respectively.
Petrol price in Bengaluru currently stand at Rs 93.59, while diesel in the city is retailing at Rs 85,75 per litre. In New Delhi petrol price currently stands Rs 90.56 per litre as against Rs 90.78 on Monday while diesel in the city is currently retailing at Rs 80.87 a litre as compared with Rs 81.10 on Monday, state-run oil refiner Indian Oil Corporation's (IOL) website showed.
Meanwhile, crude in the international markets fell a tad but on Monday, which could further ease petrol and diesel prices in the country.
