PhysicsWallah Share Price Today: The ed-tech firm, PhysicsWallah's initial public offering (IPO), made a stellar listing on the Indian stock market on Tuesday, November 18. PhysicsWallah IPO listed at a 33% premium on BSE and at a 34% premium on NSE.
PhysicsWallah share price today continued its bumper rally after stellar IPO listing. The stock was trading 7.3% higher at Rs 153.55 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 43,424.43 crore at 10:15 am.

The IPO was listed at a 33.03% premium on BSE at a price of Rs 143.1 per share. The company had fixed an upper price band of Rs 109 per share for its investors. On NSE, the IPO was listed at a premium of 34.54% at Rs 145 per share. PhysicsWallah IPO GMP today indicated an upward trend for the IPO in the grey market. Its IPO GMP today in stood at Rs 14 per share, indicating an estimated listing at Rs 123 per share, as per investorgain.com at 9 am.

PhysicsWallah's share price listing outpaced the market expectations. The company has built an extraordinary brand in affordable education, combining online scale with offline credibility. "For first-time investors, it would be prudent to wait and watch, the story remains attractive, but sustainable profitability will be key before taking long-term exposure," said Gaurav Garg, Research Analyst at Lemonn Markets Desk for PhysicsWallah's long-term outlook.
"PhysicsWallah Ltd. began its market journey with a great opening, listing at Rs145 and Rs 143.10 on the NSE and BSE, respectively, as compared to its issue price of Rs 109. The listing reflected investor confidence in PW's strong brand recall, affordable test-prep offerings, and its fast-growing hybrid model through both online platforms and PW Pathshala centers," explained Shivani Nyati, Head of Wealth at Swastika Investmart Ltd.
"The IPO garnered healthy retail participation, supported by expectations of continued demand for hybrid learning and deeper penetration in Tier II-III markets. Allottees may book partial profits and hold the remaining shares for medium-term growth with SL 130," Nyati added.
PhysicsWallah IPO Details
The issue was subscribed around 1.92 times, including 1.14 times in the retail category, 2.86 times in the QIB category, and around 0.51 times in the NII category, as per chittorgarh.com.
The PhysicsWallah IPO is valued at Rs 3,480.71 crores, comprising a fresh issue of 28.45 crore shares worth Rs 3,100.71 crores and an offer for sale of 3.49 crore shares totalling Rs 380.00 crores. Bidding for this IPO commenced on November 11, 2025, and concluded on November 13, 2025. The share allotment was finalised on November 14, 2025.
For small non-institutional investors (sNII), the investment involves purchasing 14 lots or 1,918 shares, which amounts to Rs 2,09,062. Meanwhile, large non-institutional investors (bNII) need to invest in 67 lots or 9,179 shares, totalling Rs 10,00,511.
