Crores of farmers across the country were waiting for any major announcement in the budget 2026 regarding its latest allocation for the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana this year. Since its launch in 2019, the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has benefited over 11 crore farmers.

As per the Budget 2026 announcements, the government has pledged Rs. 63,500 crore for the PM Kisan scheme, unchanged from last year's allocation.
PM Kisan Budget 2026 Allocation: What Has Changed?

The Rs. 63,500 crore allocation for FY27 will support over 10 crore beneficiaries nationwide.

Over the past year, there has been speculation about raising PM Kisan assistance to Rs. 9,000 or even Rs. 12,000 per year, based on recommendations from parliamentary committees. However, no official government approval has been granted so far, and the existing structure remains unchanged.
