PM Modi Blesses Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant at Star-Studded Reception

Prime Minister Narendra Modi blessed Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant after their star-studded wedding. The event, held at the Jio World Convention Centre, saw global celebrities, business tycoons, and politicians in attendance. Modi was welcomed by Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani before being escorted into the venue.

The wedding reception, titled Shubh Aashirwad, followed months of pre-wedding celebrations in India and abroad. Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, a pharmaceutical heiress, sought Modi's blessings by touching his feet. The couple's wedding on Friday was attended by a similar guest list.

Politicians who graced the event included Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his deputies Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar. RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav with his wife Dimple, and Shiv Sena UBT head Uddhav Thackeray were also present. Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais attended the reception as well.

Anant Ambani oversees Reliance Industries Ltd's renewable and green energy expansion. His bride, Radhika Merchant, is the marketing director for her father's company, Encore Healthcare. Both are 29 years old.
