India-UK Strategic Partnership
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) noted that the bilateral meeting injected new momentum into the India-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The leaders discussed several aspects of this partnership and recognised the necessity for a balanced and mutually beneficial Free Trade Agreement (FTA). This aligns with India's broader goals of strengthening international ties.
In addition to his meeting with Starmer, Modi also met French President Emmanuel Macron. Their discussions focused on continuing collaboration in areas such as space exploration, energy development, and artificial intelligence. These meetings underscore India's commitment to fostering global partnerships across diverse sectors.
