PNB Has Made These Important Updates For Its Customers: Details Inside

Customers of Punjab National Bank can apply for chip-based debit cards which are accepted at all ATMs and POS machines at merchant establishments, as well as online for e-commerce transactions and can be used to make digital transactions, e-commerce transactions, and payments at the merchant's point of sale according to the bank. PNB now provides three different types of debit cards: Platinum, Classic, and Gold. But for a better customer experience, PNB has announced two new features named Add On cards and Add On accounts for its customers.

According to the official website of the bank "Customers can avail facility of 2 additional cards for his/her family members (include parents, spouse and kids only). All cards work on main account of primary cardholder. Maximum of 3 accounts (one primary + 2 other accounts) can be added to a single card only at the time of issuance of card. Transactions are allowed on any account at PNB ATM only. On other bank ATM the Primary account will be shown. The accounts can be of any CBS branch but these should be of the same name and held in same capacity."

For the safety and security of its customers, PNB has also informed via its Twitter handle that "Beware of fake profiles on social media. Do not download any external software or share your personal details without verifying the handle." PNB has issued a warning in response to fraudsters masquerading as the bank on social media. PNB claims that "Bank will never ask you to download any external software such as "Quick Support". Fraudsters impersonate as bank using profile picture same as PNB's official handle and indulge in such activities with the intention of defrauding. One such account that has come to our notice is @ThePNBIndia. Bank's official handle is @pnbindia. Please do not share your personal details without verifying the handle."

The bank has also made an important announcement regarding its Q1 financial result. The lender has today unveiled via its Twitter handle that "Q1FinancialResult to go live on August 3,2021 @ 11 AM. Punjab National Bank has also made an important update for customers against a quick and secure solution to receive or generate OTP. As a substitute to the same, the bank has stated that "Explore a quick solution to OTP and verify your transactions with a single click with PNB Verify." Customers who are tired of waiting for OTP can now just switch to 'PMB Verify' by visiting https://www.pnbindia.in/PNB-VERIFY.html.
