IGL Q4 Results Preview
Kotak Institutional Equities expects Indraprastha Gas Ltd to report a 14.6% year-on-year (YoY) decline in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 430.6 crore for the fourth quarter of FY25. However, on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, the profit is estimated to rise by 8.4%.
According to the brokerage, IGL's net sales are likely to grow 8.4% YoY and 3.7% QoQ to Rs 3,898.5 crore for the March 2025 quarter. It projects that the company's EBITDA will improve by 12% QoQ, although it may still be 22% lower compared to the same period last year.
"Partial reversal of APM de-allocation from mid-January and higher availability of APM on lower offtake in fertilisers will give relief. However, the impact will be partly offset by higher LNG prices and a weaker rupee," reported Kotak Institutional Equities.
