Indian Railway Budget 2020: 16 New AC Trains to run between Thane-Vashi-Panvel

The central railway zone of Indian Railways will launch 16 new air-conditioned local suburban trains on the network's Thane-Vashi-Parel trans-harbour line. The latest Indian Railway AC local train for the "Mumbaiyas". The Railway Ministry's Central Railways (CR) region will start operating 16 new air-conditioned (AC) local trains on the Thane-Vashi-Parel trans-harbour line. Financial Express Online has been briefed by a Central Railway official that the suburban railways have been subjected this month to different safety checks before planning for passenger services.

Suresh Angadi, the Minister of State of Railways today, 30 January 2020, banned the inaugural running of the first suburban AC train on Thane-Vashi-Panvel. The inaugural special train was operating from Panvel on an open path towards Thane at about 3:30 PM. There was also an open path for the return journey from Thane station to Panvel. The specifics of the regular services of the AC suburban local trains, starting from January 31, 2020, according to Central Railways are listed below.

• Train number 99008 will depart from Panvel at 5:44 AM and arrive Thane at 6:36 AM
• Train number 99205 will depart from Thane at 6:46 AM and arrive Nerul at 7:16 AM
• Train number 99206 will depart from Nerul at 7:29 AM and arrive Thane at 8:00 AM
• Train number 99417 will depart from Thane at 8:08 AM and arrive Vashi at 8:37 AM
• Train number 99422 will depart from Vashi at 8:45 AM and arrive Thane at 9:14 AM
• Train number 99219 will depart from Thane at 9:19 AM and arrive Nerul at 9:49 AM
• Train number 99220 will depart from Nerul 9:57 AM and arrive Thane at 10:27 AM
• Train number 99101 will depart from Thane at 10:40 AM and arrive Belapur at 11:19 AM

• Train number 99044 will depart from Panvel at 4:14 PM and arrive Thane at 5:08 PM
• Train number 99265 will depart from Thane at 5:16 PM and arrive Nerul at 5:46 PM
• Train number 99266 will depart from Nerul at 5:54 PM and arrive Thane at 6:24 PM
• Train number 99251 will depart from Thane at 6:29 PM and arrive Nerul at 6:59 PM
• Train number 99252 will depart from Nerul at 7:08 PM and arrive Thane at 7:38 PM
• Train number 99047 will depart from Thane at 7:49 PM and arrive Panvel at 8:41 PM
• Train number 99062 will depart from Panvel at 8:52 PM and arrive Thane at 9:46 PM
• Train number 99057 will depart from Thane at 9:54 PM and arrive Panvel at 10:46 PM

The above train services will run on Saturdays with non-AC rake and the above services will not be available on Sundays or holidays as set out in the specified time table.
